New Paintball Gear from JT
After several years of mass market focus, JT Paintball is rumored to be staging a come back in the traditional market. ProPaintball insiders suggest that development is underway for a new 2012/2013 line of paintball gear and soft goods.
According to ProPaintball insiders, Sacramento XSV pro player Stephen “Junior” Brown has been brought on board to help develop the new paintball gear. Word is he is currently commuting cross country every other week to to JT headquarters. Sacramento XSV is JT Paintball’s factory team and the two have a very close relationship.
ProPaintball reached out to Junior and all he would say is “things are looking good for a JT come back in the traditional market”. JB went on to mention that “[he] remembers what made JT so successful and believes that level of commitment will be shown again”.
During JT’s glory days, the company employed a group of pro paintball players who were responsible for developing new paintball products and sales.
Will Junior’s involvement be the start of the return to JT’s former glory? Sound off in the comments below.

I HOPE THAT JT AND XSV HOOK UP TO MAKE THOSE XSV PANTS THEY HAD BACK WHEN CLUTCH PAINTBALL MADE IT FOR THEM BACK IN 2005…THOSE PANTS ARE STILL THE BEST PANTS EVER MADE FOR PAINTBALL…PERIOD…I STILL HAVE PLAYERS ASK ME WHERE I GOT MINE FROM AND IF THEY STILL MAKE THEM…ALL THESE YEARS LATER AND THEY STILL LOOK NEW AFTER EVERY WASH….

It would be sick to see JT back. When I started they had the best gear around.

@West Coast – I agree, it would be awesome to see JT rise to its former glory.
My first paintball purchase was a JT Spectra goggle system. I used that goggle and a ton of the JT rave series jerseys for long long time. They were also one of our teams first sponsors and the Gregory’s came out and watched my brother and I compete at an event. JT and the Gregory’s really pioneered the pro paintball sport and were very supportive of our rise. Can’t wait to see whats next.

All im saying is new pro flex’s. Quick removable lens and new soft ears………don’t touch anything else.
at 8:31 am
^^^ what he said! you do much else to that proflex, and I quit!
at 11:38 am
I wonder if they can keep the proflex bottoms (with same ventilation near the mouth area for voice) and use the empire goggle frames.
at 12:13 pm
I completely agree. The flex is known for vocals and comfort. Now only we can add a quick removable lens and better ears, you would have the mask that kills all masks!
at 3:01 pm
Has to be the JT frame or nothing
at 3:02 pm
agreed, but they should extend the soft ears to cover your entire ear…
at 6:53 am
No they should just make them not rip so easily
at 11:02 am
Make pants again and will we see the jersey for sale that xsv use?
at 11:38 am
JT TEAMS ARE BACK!
at 12:19 pm
I heard KEE was continuing to neglect JT but I hope to be proven wrong.
at 2:25 pm
i hope ur wrong also but i dont think it would be smart to neglect one of if not the most know an respected name in paintball gear an apparel
at 5:05 pm
New Flexes with all the current high end features but the old look would sell like hotcakes
at 5:16 pm
It would be uncanny timing, because JT Racing is going to reborn next year. They have an all new line of MX gear, keeping the awesome retro look.
JT Paintball shouldn’t even try to do new goggle designs. The Flex 7′s have withstood the test of time. Proving they’re still one of the best goggles out there. Maybe new colors, or straps… but that’s all.
New pants, jerseys, protective gear would be dope.

Modernized flex would be nice. Always loved JT pants as well.

Im all about the Jt. I love the pro-flexes more then any mask and use to love the old style jt pants. I would hope and love to see JT back up in da mix. Holla at yo boy if there is ANY WAY I COULD HELP this HAPPEN
at 11:35 pm
i still have a pair of jt pants from without padding that zip off 2006 in mint condition
at 2:30 pm
I hope JT makes a comeback. Hell, I still use the proflex. I find it more comfortable and practical than many of the new “improved” goggle systems of other companies.
I guess if Junior can help design and develop actual useful products and not stuff geared towards wal-mart distribution, then sure, there is no reason why JT wouldn’t be able to come back to it’s former glory.
JT is some of the first gear I ever used as a kid. Still have my JT gloves too.

It’s not going to take much for JT to come back with a bang, it’s really in their hands. If they can make gear that is high quality and fairly priced: meaning it doesn’t rip and tear after one season, and a pair of pants isn’t $120 then they’re set. It’s really easy to see that most companies design their stuff to rip and tear after a season so that they can catch people with their newest next year’s stuff… only problem now is that the market is saturated with old stuff that it doesn’t make sense to buy a $120 pair of pants when last year’s model is pretty much the same and $50 on clearance. I still have a lot of old JT gear and I love it and I can’t wait to see what they come out with after their break from paintwarz.
