Following up on our prior story of Kevin Rhodes ditching Tampa Bay Damage we have word that there may very well be an ULTIMATE revival in the works. Names being mentioned are both Kevin & Brice Rhodes (of course), and possibly even Robbie Pettinelli. (update: 7/13/08)
Supposedly they are going be competing in Division 1 PSP starting at World Cup. Word is they will be trying to pick up players from the once notorious (and now defunct) Gridlock/Trauma Camp; Cole hayes, Bobby French, and others.
Could this all be alot of hot air from the recently iced out Kevin Rhodes? Or, could we see the team (Ultimate) actually winning a match?

UPDATE: Rumor was some self promotion / pr spin on behalf of the Rhodes brothers. Colin Hayes & Bobby French have both let us know otherwise. Thanks guys!
Kevin Rhodes, formerly of the most shut out team in professional paintball (Ultimate), has decided to make the jump from new kids on the podium, Tampa Bay Damage, to the ever so cold, Studio City Icemen.
For those unfamiliar, thats like going from zero to sub-zero. Nice work Kevin!
Note: Kevin played with the Tampa Bay Damage D1 Team (Took 3rd in Chicago)
Update: Someone posted a link on the chatbox of Kevin flaming away. Watch the drama unfold on pbnation.. [Link] (Thread has been pulled from pbnation)

1. London Nexus
2. Philly Dogs
3. Budapest Bullets
4. Moscow Caste
5. Joy Division
Congrats to Nexus on making it to the top. Curious though to see Joy Division once again missing the final 4. Two events in a row! Whats this world coming to?
There is an interesting upset taking place in paintball. The once premier teams, Dynasty (Triple Crown Champions/NPPL+PSP) & Joy Division (Millenium Circuits) are both finding themselves hanging by a thread by the time the Sunday club comes around. Once upon a time both these teams had world reknown training programs, the Joy guys with the first reball training center and the Dynasty program being so successful it went to DVD. Was that all a clever marketing gimick or have they just gotten comfortable at the top? Hey! Maybe they were just letting the “lesser” teams catch up.
With major changes taking place, namely Joy out of the USA and Dynasty losing BC, rest assured that both teams will be seriously reevaluating their situation and creating a plan to retake the podium.
Could 2008 be the changing of the guard?
Star corner Brian “BC / Meat Hammer” Cole retires from Pro Paintball. He recently landed himself a high paying job. Our sources say the Dynasty camp saw it coming. Good luck Brian!
What only remains to be answered is how this will effect Dynasty? They have definitely had a rough start this season and one can only guess how BC’s vacancy will be filled. Let us know what you think in the chatbox!
Rememeber..you heard it here first!
