The defending Phoenix champions and SD Aftermath matched up first thing this morning. The American’s came out aggressive and took the first two points. Aftermath made the necessary adjustments, and returned two unanswered points to tie it back up 2–2. Both teams seemed to slow their speed of play and the points went back and forth. Philly ended up taking the lead 4-3. Aftermath calls a time out to address the necessary plays to win the match. Aftermath comes back and ties the match first point back from the time out, then takes the lead 5-4. With seconds left Philly ties the match up 5-5 and takes it to overtime. With only one point to play, Philly shot key lanes and ended up defeating Aftermath 6-5 to win the match after a very close and hard fought match.
