[UPDATED] Pro Team Update: DC Arsenal

February 23, 2011 in DC Arsenal, Featured

As the 2011 NPPL season approaches, very little talk of pro team DC Arsenal has sparked, that is, until recently.

What we know:
ProPaintball insiders suggest that two of the core sponsors of Arsenal will be DLX Technologies, providing their Luxe 1.5 paintball markers, and SLY Equipment providing their Profit goggle systems and possibly other soft goods.

It was rumored that Arsenal was picking up players and forming what was said to be a “dream team” roster. That statement is strictly a matter of opinion; however, I do not think anyone would disagree that the team has made big moves to rebuild by picking up some great players. The team is said to not only be competing in the 7-man NPPL but also the  European Millennium Series.

7-man Roster:

  • Pat Rhodes
  • JC Whittington
  • Collin Laster
  • Justin “LJ” Schwarz *formerly of Los Angeles Infamous
  • Kevin “Kali” Rudulph *formerly of Los Angeles Infamous
  • Dave “The Beast” Bains *formerly of Edmonton Impact
  • Justin Rabackoff *formerly of Tampa Bay Damage

Arsenal, Explicit and BLAST will be meeting up at Capital Edge Paintball Park (CEPP) to practice the official HB field layout this weekend. If you are in the area, I encourage you head out there for what is sure to be a great weekend of paintball!

  • DC Arsenal is rumored to not be playing this year in the NPPL. With the PSP filling up their pro spots, what will happen to them? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
  • Word has it that there will be a new team playing in the Millenium series. Team U.S.A., it will be composed of 2 teams, San Diego Dynasty and Edmonton Impact. You would think the team would be called team North America, one team from Canada, and the other from the U.S.A.

Stay tuned, more to come…

    Dynasty win USPL Las Vegas!

October 18, 2009 in Dynasty, NPPL, USPL

Dynasty LogoDynasty have just beat Oakland Blast for the event win, but Blast still take the series title for 2009. Congratulations to both teams!

    1st- San Diego Dynasty
    2nd- Oakland Blast
    3rd- Edmonton Impact
    4th- Infamous

This was the first win for Dynasty in a series which til now has been all about DC Arsenal.  The Vegas finale showed no love to the now former series leader DC Arsenal. The team received two penalties that pulled them from the runnings; the first for an illegal gun, and the second for unsportsmanlike conduct which ultimately placed the team in 12th. Their poor performance at the NPPL Vegas event ultimately cost them the series title. Wow.

Stay tuned for the official Pro Paintball photo galleries from the event, courtesy of Robert Abitia.

Team USA at the Millennium Malaga Event

April 13, 2009 in DC Arsenal, Dynasty, Millennium

usaAfter finalization during the USPL Huntington Beach 2009 event members of San Diego Dynasty and DC Arsenal will be teaming up to play in the Millennium Malaga event this next weekend. This is the first we’ve seen of the #1 and #2 US teams teaming up together to play in the European Circuit. Many in the past have guest starred on other teams that represent the same sponsors, but nothing on this level. The players representing Team USA will include Ryan Greenspan(Dynasty), Yosh Rau(Dynasty), Alex Fraige(Dynasty), JC Whittington(Arsenal), Chris Designor(Arsenal) & Pat Rhodes(Arsenal) with a 7th Player TBA. Who might it be? Surely the next days will tell but until then, Team America, F Yeah!
