Pro Paintball insiders have just received word that Alex “Mouse” Goldman has joined San Diego Dynasty and will be playing with the team at NPPL Las Vegas and PSP World Cup. Mouse previously played with San Diego Aftermath, Los Angeles Ironmen and a breif stint with Dynasty in 2007. No word on what this means for Aftermath but rumors are circulating that the team may be calling it quits. Stay tuned to PRO Paintball.com for the latest paintball news.
Earlier during the week, Russian Legion was featured on the Pro Paintball MAO Watch List as a strong contender for the MAO event. Going into the event, the Russians were 5th overall in the PSP and 5th in the Pro Paintball power rankings. In the final match against Edmonton Impact, Russian Legion dominated the pro field and secured their place at the top with a final score against Impact of 7 to 2. New comers to the pro division, San Diego Aftermath, made their pro debut at the recent Chicago Open, blasted out the Ironmen for a 3rd place finish. Here are a few words from the PSP and final scores from each division.
Congratulations to Russian Legion for winning the Professional Division of the 2010 PSP Mid-Atlantic Open! The mostly-Russian team faced off against Edmonton Impact out of Canada (2010 PSP Phoenix Pro Champions) to fight for the title.
Teams from all over the United States and abroad competed in three days of non-stop paintball action across five fields at the Paintball Central Sports Park of Rock Hill, SC for this weekend’s PSP Mid-Atlantic Open. This is the highest level of competition in the world, so the following teams who came out on top deserve much respect and recognition:

The last few weeks have been hectic in the paintball world. Teams are adjusting themselves for NPPL and PSP Chicago Open events. According to Pro Paintball Insiders, several teams are changing divisions and in other cases they are folding. Read on for the memorial weekend rumor report.
Mike Hinman of San Diego Aftermath turns 30 today. Mike’s played on some of the best pro paintball teams in the world including Aftershock, Bushwackers, and Dynasty. Mike grinds harder than anyone we know. Most recently, Mike has been coaching his friends on Aftermath back to the Pro level, building the Aftermath Arenas, and running the West Coast Paintball Players League, the largest and best run regional league in the world. Mike has been a great friend, a big supporter of Pro Paintball, and a pillar of both the national and regional paintball circuits. Your the man, Mike..Happy Birthday!
Just weeks before the most recent PSP event in Phoenix, there were a lot of pro paintball teams getting practice in all over California. Edmonton Impact, Boston Legion, and Tampa Bay Damage were in Sacramento while San Diego Aftermath, LA Ironmen, SK Moscow and Scottsdale Elevation were battling it out at the Aftermath Arena in Southern California. Raney Stanczak, a former pro paintball player that recently became a professional poker player, took 3rd place in the World Series of Poker Circuit event. According to WSOP, Raney was a clear leader throughout the tournament held yesterday at Harrahs Casino & Resort but ran out of luck in the final rounds, losing to pro card player Joseph Cheong.
