CXBL Paintball Field Layout – E1, 2012

The Canadian Xball league has unveiled the paintball field layout for event 1 of the 2012 season. While this layout appears fairly standard, it should be a ton of fun for teams to practice and compete on. Be sure to print out the grid and ask your local field to set this layout up for practice!

Event 1 Schedule:

  1. Eastern: June 2nd/3rd, 2012 at Paintball Mirabel.
  2. Central: June 9th/10th, 2012 at Flag Raiders Paintball
  3. Atlantic: June 23rd/24th, 2012 at Armyman’s Paintball.

CXBL Richmond Cup at PSP World Cup

Video #1 has hit the airwaves in a feature of the CXBL Richmond Cup at PSP World Cup produced by Backline Media.

The video highlights scores, games and Day 1 results from the CXBL Richmond Cup. Eight different teams would knock each other down to get to the next day of the tournament in the Richmond Cup finals. Action was exciting as teams from all over the world filled the venue to watch the Canadian based paintball league perform at their best.

Here is some commentary from the CXBL, one of the most prominent XBALL leagues in the world, about Day 1 of what was an exciting contribution to a World Cup spectacular.

CXBL Richmond Cup, this weekend in the USA, next year in Canada

In just a few hours, the top paintball players from Canada will be flying in to Florida to compete at the 2011 Richmond Cup. Held in tandem with the 2011 PSP World Cup, the 2011 Richmond Cup features the best Canadian paintball teams competing for the X-Ball Championship title. Canadian and US based players competing in the 2011 Richmond Cup will compete on the full X-ball format for over $50,000.00 in prizes. US and Canadian players competing in the PSP’s Race-To format only a few feet away will be playing a modified version of the X-Ball format. ProPaintball is looking forward  to talking with players and fans from both sides as to which format and style they prefer, or if they have a preference. Having so many paintball players competing at one location is very exciting and we are really looking forward to the events.

CXBL Richmond Paintball World Cup

For 2012, the CXBL has announced that the Richmond Cup will once again be held in Canada.

“The CXBL is excited to announce that for the 2012 season, the Richmond Cup will be played here at home on Canadian soil. After listening to player feedback and after extensive internal discussions, we are pleased to announce the Richmond Cup will be played for in the nations capital, Ottawa ON, in the month of September 2012.

The Richmond Cup event will be a 3 day event, encompassing all divisions (CX4, RXL, MXL, and CXBL) and will be played on 4 fields simultaneously. This will be by far Canada’s largest event with over $50,000 in prizes to be awarded on site.

More information will be posted at www.xball.com on these exciting changes.”

CXBL 2011 Allstar Paintball Tournament

The Canadian Xtreme Paintball League has released over 50 minutes the recent Border Battle All Star Match. Watch over 50 minutes of true Xball footage filmed with six cameras spread throughout the field. The CXBL 2011 Allstar Match at Commando Paintball featured several pro paintball players including Alfred De Los Santos (Mutiny), Frank Connell (Avalanche), Cole Scott (Uprising), Chad “Yaya” Bouchez (Aftershock), Nick Slowiak (Aftershock) and Thomas Taylor (XSV).

CXBL 2K11 Border Battle E3 At Commando Paintball – Part 1

CXBL PaintballEastern Canada recently faced off against Central Canada in the 2011 CXBL Border Battle over the July 4th weekend. The event was a huge success and there is tons of great paintball footage online and coming online documenting the action. This is the first of two clips and will be followed up with a full 45 minute Xball All Star match video featuring American Pro Paintball players.

Enjoy the CXBL 2011 Border Battle video covering both Central and Eastern conferences. This event is so big that we had to split the action into two episodes and another full 45 minutes, multi-camera All Star Match segment. CXBL Event 3 – Border Battle Paintball Event

CXBL Paintball Event - Border Battle

The “Border Battle” is a CXBL event that has both the Central and Eastern conferences playing paintball at the same time on four XBall fields. This event will be held July 2nd and 3rd, Canada Day weekend at Commando Paintball, in Ottawa.  It is the largest Xball event across Canada. In addition to the Xball matches, we will also host our annual Allstar Paintball Game. This match highlights the best XBall players from our Central versus Eastern Conference, hence the name “Border Battle”.

American pro paintball players Alfred De Los Santos (Mutiny), Frank Connell (Aftershock), Cole Scott (Uprising), Chad “Yaya” Bouchez (Aftershock), Nick Slowiak (Aftershock) and Thomas Taylor (XSV) will be competing in the event.
