You may remember back in March, during the 2011 PSP season opener in Texas, when a new Empire Paintball loader was spotted in use by some of the Pro paintball teams like San Diego Dynasty and Los Angeles Infamous. We said we would pass along more info as it became available…. well, here it is! The new Empire Prophecy Z2 Paintball Loader!
Product Information:
The Empire Prophecy tradition continues with the release of the Prophecy Z2 Paintball Loader. The Prophecy Z2 Loader continually monitors drive force, rate of fire, and it automatically clears a jam before you have a chance to miss that perfect shot. In the blink of an eye, the Prophecy Z2 will have performed more proactive measures than any other loader ever created. It’s the most advanced, easiest to use feeding system ever designed. Made of super strong-reinforced composites combined with its ultra-lightweight design and low profile, the Z2 will supercharge every player’s game.

Would the RF capabilities in this loader along with the “loader settings” on the axe pro board have anything to do with project sasquatch?
at 9:30 pm
I like the shells on the new hoper and how easily it deals with brittle paint. Can’t wait to get my hands on one.
at 9:33 pm
Are the shells and internals backwards compatible? I have an LTD board that I would love to have in the new shells.
at 9:42 pm
From what I saw and understand…. no. The only similarity with the LTD system is the encoder. I’ve never had my hands on an LTD upgrade for the Prophecy, but the encoder looks to be a series of sensors that tells the board to spin, stop or reverse in the most efficient manner possible.
at 12:17 pm
I never thought about putting my LTD board in my Z2 along with the LTD back cap. I’m gonna try that tonight. I do have a hybrid LTD I created with extra Z2 parts I have.

Let me know how that works out. I would be very interested in the results!

So glad they added tabs around the on/off toggle switch. I can’t tell you how many times my loader accidentally got turned on in my gearbag, and my fresh batteries were drained.
at 6:50 pm
Always unplug em, when you’re done playing. Makes batteries last quite a bit longer.

Looks good, sleek shell and nice and soft on paint. If its priced right, I’ll get one.

Awesome to see this come out!! Im a huge Prophecy fan!

if paint or dirt gets underneath the feed cone by the encoder.. will it still function? Obviously its a worst case situation but, I am curious.
at 8:19 pm
yes it will still function, there is an encoder on the gear as well
at 4:31 am
well, i will wait and see and let someone else be the guinea pig before me… My foot is still sore from punting my phophecy across the field in disgust.
at 1:19 pm
This isn’t a new loader. Infamous, Dynasty & XSV have been using this loader all season. I’m sure all the “kinks” are well worked out by now.

aka project Sasquatch
XD

Thank you for refining the prophecy and keeping it less than 200, I will be buying this and selling my rotor as I love the design of these hoppers
at 2:03 pm
So Empire Basically made a Rotor version of the prophecy – Simple push button on/off no stupid adjustable modes or settings.

Those loaders are nice, but they have a pretty high profile, no?
