  1. umm..really did not need that type of music. When editing PB videos, people need to understand YOU ARE REPRESENTING the sport!
People wonder about why PB isnt doing well! Imagine if you are from a company outside this sport,,,interested in sponsoring say a team or event. You pull up this video and the music would definitely turn them off. Not what they would want representing their company! and NOT AT ALL what we need to represent our sport. people…use your heads ok?

  2. would have been good without that music! when will people understand??? You are REPRESENTING the sport when you edit videos like these. And people wonder why the sport does so poorly in getting any main stream support???
Imagine you are a company not in PB and are approached to sponsor a team or an event. You decide to look further, and pull up some PB websites. You then klik on this video, and all you hear is vulgarities every other word. Well, most companies will say…no this is NOT the image I want associated with my company.
I mean people need to understand…the sport DOES NOT need additional negative perceptions! and above your rallying to save PB in Ca.. so people (citizens, not PB players) decide to look further into the sport. Do you think theyll like what they see???,,,,and vote to save the sport? absolutely not. PB needs to stop being its own worst enemy in EVER moving forward!

ok cmon seriously im sorry but the music is what makes this video great cause paintball is a mother fuckin lifestyle, the music gives this video a deeper meaning in my opinon…and please it’s not like this video will be shown on national television, chill out its a freaking youtube video not a promotaional paintball video…this video was prolly made by ballers for ballers who grind it out every weekend with just enuf money to slide by so they can play the sport they love, and live the “paintball lifestyle.” and the real thing thats getting people away from this sport is things such as the oliver lang and frank incident at chicago, you should be more pissed about incidents like that instead of an inspirational paintball video…my opinion though your entitled to yours.

      • sorry..Im not! I didnt mind the Ollie and Frank moment.I thought it was GREAT!
I was a pro when PB was full contact and i think that adds to the game. Its like Hockey, football, baseball…when you are a top level competitor and put your all into it, and some cheats you, or you think he did then things happen! And people expect it sometimes.
If you cheated me when I played I WOULD be waiting for you when you stepped off the field..believe me. And WE WOULD have a VERY intense ONE on ONE conversation! and to be honest…most times I would not wait to get off the field..we would be settling it there!
As far as lifestyle..as a pro for over ten years..in the sport over 27 years..and in the industry as well..i think i know a little about “the lifestyle”, though thanks for trying to tell me.

ok so your saying its ok for people to scream the f bomb and other things at each other during a live paintball tournament wiht lots of spectators and with videos of it online, but its not ok for there to be a paintball video that has music with the f word in it? people who freak out during the middle of a game make the sport look unprofessional, all of the more popular sorts inforce sportsmanship…mabey we should do the same…and im sory to break it to you but this is not the past we dont just play paintball now with little rules and no sportsmanship…why because it’s not professional. people who do make secnes such as frrank and ollie and most likely by the sound of it you at one time, do not make this sport look very professional. and have you ever thought about how much screamin at someone changes there perception of the game…say screaming at a person becuase you thought they were hit or cheated when they really didnt now there getting screamed at for no reason and now they feel like shit and might want to quit….ooo and by the way it looks like frank is quitting now so i believe your method of paintball being a contact sport is obviously not helping the sport…and yes i also blame the refs for that incident as well in my oinion there should have been a trade out but what the ref says is deffinite so why argue and make a scene in front of everyone its useless. that game reminded me a lot of the joy game.so all im saying if you are really pisssed about cussing then tell our pros to stop cussing and show sportsmanship because they are the ones truly representing this sport….not a youtube video. and im sorry i havent played paintball as long as you but guess what i have as much heart for this sport as you do and i have my own opinioon we can just agree to disagree because i dont want to see this turn into giant flame fest because thats all paintballer seem to do anymore on any forum. and i never once stated you didnt know about the paintball lifestyle im happy i have the privelage to depate with someone who used to be a pro…but im sorry we dont live in the good old days of paintball, paintball needs a change and needs cleaned up in order to go mainstream. i agree the music could be changed but i dont think this is the true cause of the decline of paintball. a lot of paintball companies have a lot to do with the decline, but this year i really do belive paintball is starting to make a bit of a comeback.

Thanks for the advice on the music for the videos I make at Grind. As the only person responsible for the content that Grind puts out, a conscious effort is made on the music and footage selection that goes into everything that Grind produces. Grind is marketed towards competitive paintball players and the music that is selected for the videos is marketed towards that audience as well. Paintball cannot be everything to everyone and like any other successful brand, product, or industry, Grind is taking a segment of the market and trying to cater to it. I believe that the lyrics and artists that I have chosen are part of that market. Grind’s backbone has and always will revolve around the dedication, perseverance and real experiences that goes into playing paintball professionally. That backbone is what will draw people in and make them realize that we do take this seriously.

You’re more than entitled to your opinion, and I do respect it. I am also entitled to my own opinion which is why I chose to create Grind. I wanted to use the platforms that are at all of our fingertips and spread my love for the game of paintball to more people than my own circle of friends.

    • well when you release your work in the public domain it reflects on the sport as a whole. If you think MFer and the s and f bomb continuoisly is a good reflection on the sport…you are wrong. I dont care who your trying to market it to..I care about the other people who will see…hear it. Not a good representation of the sport AT ALL! truth!

thanks for this video man this video inspired and motivated me a lot more because it reminded me of our srtuggle and our lifestyle we choose and love to live…thanks again and keep up the good work

  5. Im sure some people will look at this website as to see what PB is about in the upcoming legislation in California. As the people in the industry who are fighting the battle on your the players behalf they wrote:

“It is important that we conduct ourselves in a professional manner as we deal with this issue. ”

” We are portraying paintball as a recreational game and sport in order to make sure we have a strong position that the political system can stand behind.”

Im sure you cannot think that this video will be viewed positively by anyone that comes from outside PB to see what its about. THESE PEOPLE WILL BE VOTING ON PBs FUTURE IN CALIFORNIA.

Their decision will establish “case law” or “legal precedence” for other states who choose to follow. I can guarantee youll see the same thing enacted in NY. NJ, Ma. Illinois and other liberal anti gun states.

Such an image is not needed with the preconceived image PB already has, and there are many in our political system who are dead set on this ban and would use this against the sport to show it in a negative way!
    That the truth!

  6. and dont get me wrong the video is fine. Its the music that bothers me. Im an editor myself and appreciate your creativity and your vision on the sport. I want to make that clear. I just know how the preconcieved image of the sport is and dont like vulgarity laced music. I just dont see an upside of it if viewed by the general public.

  7. what happened to emerging underground? where are the videos at?

  8. The problem with PB is all the haters. Constantly hating no matter what someone throws out there. Watch NBA or NFL you can see those dudes dropping the fbomb every game.

I thought that vid was dope, like the down-tempo feel for a change. The dubstep vids with bitches dancing around and slamming miller lite are getting old. Nothin but respect.
