UPDATED: New Paintball Gun – Angel FLY SB
February 22, 2011 in Gear
ProPaintball insiders suggest a new paintball gun by ANGEL Paintball Sports is scheduled for the release in the next 24-48 hours. The Fly SB as it will be known, features a sealed breach (remember how your Angel bolt would flip out to the right hand side for cleaning?), as well as a long list of other improvements noted below.
The Fly SB paintball gun feature list:
- Shoots over 2000 rounds per tank
- Super gas efficient and consistent
- Incredibly accurate
- Comes with the new D-lite exhaust valve stem made from a durable, lightweight polymer material.
- Comes with the Booster bolt 2 to ensure gas is pre-delivered to cushion the ball and prevent breakages.
- Comes with the new STR Ram – which has a new bore design and lighther hammer to make this ram the most air efficient angel ram to date.
- Full colour, super clear, OLED board with preset modes – Millennium, PSP, Semi, Auto, Demo and Custom
- Easy adjust asa with on/off
- Clamping no rise, feed tube
- Ultra low profile
- Easy body styling – the SB no longer has the breech block (same as the ark)
The SB will be available in Black, Red, British Racing Green and Blue.
The retail on the Black SB will be €845,
The retail on the other colours will be €875

Looks the same as the regular A1 Fly..

The Ego hasn’t changed noticeably in appearance for almost 4 years. Neither have DMs for that matter. Also, since the breech is sealed on this one whereas the FLY its open…clearly you missed that one.

looks like another piece of shit from WDP… when are they going to go a different direction with their unpopular gun lines?

Now here is the funny thing…. Every one tries to dog on angels, but the truth of the matter is probably most of you have never shot one, and probably are using a dangerous power or Invert mini, and think you are the shit…. Well I actually own an angel, and what’s not to like about them?? I mean fastest trigger/board (in my opinion, in paintball), stock laser eyes, supper efficient and accurate! but i don’t know you guys keep on hating, i will most likely sell my a1 fly, and try out the sb

A lot of haters forget about the glory years when PE didn’t make markers yet, Smart Parts was still total crap, and WDP dominated the tourney world. But hey, its easy to trash something that you don’t understand and have no respect for.

I have a matt black angel A1 Fly.
Yes i have had problems with it. Do i love it Yes i will never sell it.
Will i buy this Yes as soon as i have the money. i think they took their time with this to see what other companies are doing with their upgrades and they spen more time on refining the design of the internals hence 2000 shots off a tank. i hope the ram design is better than the A1 fly.
But all in all i love it and cant wait to get my hands on one

Don’t know how ppl can call this thing shit when they haven’t even had their hands on it. Angel has always had great markers for the longest time. Yes they have had markers with issues but I can’t think of any marker out there that doesn’t. Not to mention who cares how it looks, some ppl are just too worried on how pretty the gun looks then how it works. I’ve been playing since 1994 since my dad got me started and he’s been playing since 1990 and back then paintball guns were not pretty looking but nobody cared. It’s all about the quality and of all the paintball guns i’ve had starting from if anyone remembers the F1 illustrator to Angel I have to say Angel has been my favorite. But this is just my opinion from personal experience.
