PPB Exclusive: GI Sportz New Paintball Loader
October 6, 2010 in Gear
Pro Paintball insiders have gotten their hands on a new paintball product from GI Sportz 2011 line up. Some of you may recall that this loader was hinted at during the 2009 PSP World Cup, however, not much more was known at the time. As the 2010 paintball season has progressed we have reported on several changes from the GI Sportz/Milsim organization, specifically the launch of a 68 caliber line of paintballs, a potential new paintball goggle, and the hiring of Pat O’toole and Steve Rabackoff from Procaps. Just hours ago one of our insiders came across a pre release GI Sportz paintball loader. Rumors indicate that this loader will be available in 50 and 68 calibers, just like their paintballs. Insider gossip indicates that this loader will be unveiled at the 2010 PSP World Cup.
Here is what we know:
- Official launch will be at PSP World Cup, 2010.
- Focused on the high end market segment; will be competing with Empire Prophecy and DYE Rotor paintball loaders.
- Focused on speed, consistency and efficiency.
- Utilizes (2) 9 volts batteries.
- Body opens similiar to a rotor.
- Early impression: this thing feeds like a champion!
Without further adu, here is a sneak peak at the new paintball loader by GI Sportz:

is this going to be a total rip off of the rotor like there first two were ? and it looks like a rotor and the proph had sex

If the formula works, why change it? The only issue with the rotor was the small capacity. Add prophecy dimensions and you get a good system.

Yeah, both the Empire Prophecy and DYE Rotor are great systems. I like how easily they can be taken apart and cleaned. Major improvements from the old halos and velocities!

Yet they’re still using that junk super-hard plastic we all know cracks worse than BlingBling on bumfights.

Nice. What gun is that? Is that the new luxe maybe?

Matt,
I think this is the Nano 50cal which we reported on here: http://www.propaintball.com/2009/10/pro-paintball-exclusive-gi-milsim-50-cal-nano/
Similar to the Luxe design (I believe they were designed by Smart Parts prior to bankruptcy).
For what its worth, the Luxe 1.5 is rumored to be launched at the 2010 PSP World Cup as well. Luxe 2 is set for release sometime around the 2011 PSP World Cup.

i hope its not the same plastic they used for the halos!!!! the top part of the loader looks good but the feed neck area looks horrible. and i see alot of wires, i dont want a loader to be blue tooth or link it to my mind or play mp3 ‘s i want it to loader 99 times out of 98 if you get me. this is why i own a rotor one button function. one thing to go wrong. prophecy 4 different modes numerous things to go wrong!

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

If it ain’t broke, why fix it? I don’t see a reason to re do the rotor. Unless ur gonna one up the pinokio , why even bother putting out a new “super loader” anyway?
Ben said on October 14, 2010
well if you put some metal wire to jump the second batt. slot you can run off one 9 volt. but if that thing can be maintained like a rotor and feed like a prophecy… AND is under $100 msrp. i’d tap dat lol.
ive never shot GI sportz guns but it looks like they’re china-ifying other brands. nano being nt, impulse50 being impulse, and the micro being like… a droid.

dual 9 volts and richmond italia… hmmm why is the hardcorps torque coming to mind… connecting the dots is fun.

personally i think its a good idea that the 50cal revolution is evolving, and for the industry to increase in size and the sport to get bigger.

I brought 2 cases , and threw away one one of the worst paint I have ever shot you can drop a ball 8-12 in to a hard surface, and the shell will break, ball does not work with Dye rotors very brittle sont shoot out of gun just throw it or throw out this GI Sportz do not purhases this ball
