Former pro paintball player Greg Hastings is getting ready to release the follow up title to his Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball series of video games. According to Wikipedia, GHTP had a serious following and in 2005 ranked in at 13 of the top 25 games played on Xbox live.
Not sure if its the trailer or the full game but there appears to be a major interest in the scenario side of the paintball game. Thoughts?

who cares. Remember that the walk on, scenario crowd makes up more of the paintball community then tournament players and the game will do better to appeal to that crowd.

Yes, this is what we need–more comparisons to real war… Instead of promoting our sport/tournament format, we get more of this crap. Rudimentary graphics, a cheesy trailer, and the same old Greg Hastings gameplay. Wow what a fail.

I was really pumped when I first heard there was a new one, but after watching the trailer… big disappointment. I was hoping for something more similar to Max’d, but with improved graphics and updated equipment.

The vast majority of people who walk onto a paintball field aren’t walking onto an NPPL/PSP style field. This game can’t just be for those of us who go to practice every weekend, he has to draw in people who talk about being snipers, and refer to paint as bullets.
Oh I heard theres a god mode where you turn into Jeremy Salm and post up outside the field. :dodgy:
