Sacramento XSV 2010 NPPL Pro Paintball Jersey

April 9, 2010 in XSV

While on location at the NPPL HB Surf City Open today we had the opportunity to preview the new paintball jersey for Sacramento XSV. In typical ProPaintball.com fashion, we snuck a cellphone pick of the jersey to share with those of you unable to attend the event.

Readers will note that Sacramento XSV and team sponsor Understood Paintball recently released a great looking desert camouflage jersey for the 2010 paintball season. The jersey featured below will be the teams second jersey this year.

In what appears to be a departure from traditional pro paintball jerseys, Ninja Paintball, not XSV, is the feature of this jersey.

Update: Pro Paintball sources have informed us that this will be Sacramento XSV’s 7-man jersey for the 2010 paintball season.

  1. I like the color combination and pin stripes, but Dislike all the sponsor placements

check out the Naughty Dogs jersey, now that’s a nice one!

  2. I don’t understand y they don’t stick with yellow did the nppl also ban yellow jerseys too?

    • The NPPL banned yellow on any part of your apparel and equipment because they shoot yellow paint and it would be harder to spot a hit if it were on a yellow part of your stuff

    mediocre

    • I also agree i loved the old XSV jerseys the yellow was a fantastic color and it looked like a great jersey. Now its like they r trying to make one of the best teams in the NPPL look like a dry hunk of dog shit in the corner. RED and BLACK=TERRIBLE, and the sponsor placement on the jersey looks like someone ate the sponsors and threw them up on the front

  4. Don’t like the sponsorship placement at all. The team should be the focus, not the equipment.

  5. red and black?! RED AND BLACK???!!! Red and black is the single most common colour combination in paintball.

It’s like they deliberately tried to make the most generic, boring, bland design they possibly could. I actually don’t think they could have done worse if they’d been deliberately trying. I say that as a full time designer.

  6. UGLY UGLU….. Mannn maybe ninjia was all like… lets make this as ugly as posible so maybe people will take notice of it! Great placement strategy.

  7. I am all about representing the sponsors, but the XSV looks like they are Sponsoring team Ninja! Departure indeed.

  8. What happened to the camo jerseys they were wearing? Those were really nice looking! And if the color of that wasnt within the rules just change the colors. But c’mon of all colors red and black?! At least be somewhat creative here and try different colors.

  9. Team Ninja Paintball…sponsored by XSV.

  10. I hate it, sell out to Ninja…. change your mind Rich!

  11. FTL…..just fugggggly…

  12. its a fucking jersey, jesus!

  13. why didnt they use the same colors as usual?

i like the design but dont like the colors

why are the sponsors bigger then the TEAM NAME??!!!!???!!!

  14. i love it. but i wanna see the back side, im guessing a big xsv logo is on the back.

  15. Obviously this is an Animal paintball jersey. What an ugly piece of crap…who in their right minds would ever buy a jersey from Animal? Absolute garbage, as always.

  16. i love animal paintball’s jerseys, i bought one in 2006, still have it. they hold up for a long time and don’t fade.

  17. hahahahahha ewwwwwwwwww yuck nigga that shits gross… who the fuck would buy this jersey animal fails…

rich count them stacks how much you sell out for?? hustlehustlehuslte all day

  18. Well I like it. Fuck I designed it. We made Ninja the primary logo. That’s crazy right, who does that, I dunoo, maybe the most watched sport in the world Soccer.

    Hate it. Like it. Whatever.

Its red and black, cause those are the Ninja colors.

Nina, XSV and Understood think its great.

  19. Of course Ninja thinks its great, they are the primary focus. Obviously Understood is gonna like it, since you designed it, and you ride their dicks hard. And XSV thinks they are great because they like to look shitty on the field (as recent years have shown us).

I pretty much hate XSV, but I really liked their Desert Camo jerseys, how do you go from those amazing jerseys to this shit?

There is a reason team’s jerseys have had their team name as the major focus for years, because everyone likes it that way!

  20. CitrusMaximus go away no one cares what you think, these are fan post here. There sure played bad in those bad shirts Saturday :)

Yes i am an XSV fan, ya poor me…. :)

  21. Rich interview today, looks like XSV needed to go this way to play this event. Guess you do what you need to play.

  22. Clearly the team is in a rebuilding phase. This is one of the things they need to do to to get what they need sponsorship wise. I like the Jersey it has an Indiana Pacers feel to it and sort of channels professional sports with the pinstripes(Though many teams have used the pinstripes this one pulls it off). I think that Citrus Offers something on the website that not many other posters do, His Identity. I know for a fact that behind many of these funny names one here are people who never play paintball on any level, BUT, There are also a number of industry people, pro players, manufacturers and Field Owners that post regularly under silly names and never identify themselves. Though I dont know his real name “Citrus” always identifies himself and offers his opinion. Agree with him or not he always shares his opinion.

  23. Ugly.
Whatever it takes to play I guess.

UM for those that dont know the reason behind the jersey.. XSV wasnt going to be able to play HB NPPL. they even had 2 non XSV players playing in their first pro spot on the roster. they lost majority of sponsor money and couldnt afford HB. sooo. Rich, troll, and the other regulars paid half of the way. NINJA agreed to pay the rest of the way. including entry/paint. hence the real reason why NInja is in the middle of the jersey. Nothing was prepared for HB until Ninja stepped in to help.

and evil empire’s response is no where near what my thoughts are. Im the real EVILEMPIRE… and my name is EVILEMPIRESD.

  26. Love it or hate it, XSV is still XSV. It’s not the Jersey that makes the team, it’s the players. The team can go out in plain white jerseys with no logos or sponsors and still dominate a game.
