NE Hurricanes Episode 2 Paintball Video Update

Birth of a Storm, the debut paintball video from the New England Hurricanes, was a major success. Since the films debut just 30 days ago, Birth of a Storm has become the 4th highest rated paintball video on youtube, a major accomplishment for the Hurricanes first episode.

We recently had the opportunity to catch up with the directors of the Hurricane video series who let us know that they will be running a special pre-screening contest for the much anticipated second episode. Read on for official details and a few words from the Chastney brothers;

A note from the directors:

Fellow Ballers,

This past weekend, Deadbox Media and the New England Hurricanes converged on Maynard Paintball Club in Massachusetts for the team’s first official practice and filming of the second episode of the “Birth of a Storm” documentary series.

In this next episode, the players battle through injury, upset, and opponents as they take their first steps towards becoming a professional team and YOU could be the first to see it! The public release of “Birth of a Storm: Episode 2″ is scheduled for 12:00 AM on April 25, but on April 20 we will allow a select few to privately pre-screen the episode via youtube. We expect this episode to be the best yet, so don’t miss your chance to see it FIRST! (Contest details below)

  1. I vote...DRAMA

PROPAINTBALL MADE THIS VIDEO POPULAR, NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE EAST COAST KIDS WHO COULDNT MAKE IT, EVERY TEAM HAS A STORY BUT WITHOUT IT BEING POSTED ON PROPAINTBALL, NO ONE WOULD EVEN CARE TO WATCH IT!

    PROPAINTBALL #1
NE HURRICANES- STILL GETTING THE BOOT-

  2. Bill

If this goes out in print and available for sale, We would be more than happy to pick up a bunch for retail.

    Thanks and let us know.

  3. Ben

Hahahaahhahaah…We do suck, we’ve chocked over and over…good observation.

Thats why were dangerous. We’ve failed so many times theres no where to go from here than up. Before we failed and then kept doing what we were doing and continued to fail.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity. That is what the NE region, teams, and individuals have been doing.

This year, things are different. We are failing forward.

How do you succeed twice as fast? fail twice as fast. Period. As long as you fail forward everytime you will learn and grow as a team untill you succeed.

No one would be popular in any sport/music/etc.. without the vehicles that made them so. We appreciate propaintball for aligning themselves with our ideals for paintball to grow and to spend a bunch of our money and time to bring the paintball community some great stuff.

All i have to say is don’t give us a taste of winning a national event…cuz its contagious and we will continue to win once we get there.

We didn’t not make it…we just haven’t made it yet.

  4. NETWORKING

HAHAHAHHA GUYS ARE A JOKE! I’M WITH THE GUY UP TOP, HOPEFULLY YOU GUYS CAN KEEP NETWORKING YOURSELVES, BECAUSE YOU ALL PLAY BALL LIKE A GIRL!

  5. EDDY

Good stuff guys and keep doing what your doing. Don’t let some foolish clown attempt to derail your accomplishment regardless how small they are. The hurricanes are taking a bold new approach to making their franchise work. It’s easy to fail and walk away, it’s much harder to accept defeat rebuild and come back. I’m sure in a short time the hurricanes will be back and better than ever. There is a huge amount of people out there that are backing you up!!

  6. grind now shine later

the one kid said it best, just wanna play paintball. Every single paintball player, yes everyone of us started at the bottom and grinded it out to get to where we are today, whether ur playin D4,3,2,1,semi, or Pro PSP, NPPL, or woodsball play for the love of paintball. Be a good ambassador for the sport we all love, don’t be a hater it only shows ur ignorance and destroys the game we all enjoy. man the friends and brothers we make along the way, priceless!! live ur dream, play hard have fun.
