First Look: XSV shooting new paintball guns from ALIEN
March 1, 2010 in XSV
Check out the first look of XSV players shooting Aliens. Pro Paintball caught up with XSV’s Junior Brown who had this to say:
We have been testing the Alien Paintball gun for a few weeks now. This weekend was the first time all the players on the team have played with them and it was a good weekend to get the players thoughts as we played the Ironmen both days. Over the weekend I was asking all the players to give me feedback on the guns so we can work with Jack Rice the owner of Alien over the coming months, but all I was being told from them are they shoot flat with next to no kick and they are very happy.

The Aliens look a bit bulky. Did that affect your guys play at all?
Thomas Taylor said on March 1, 2010
Bulky????? must just be a pic you saw. they are very small and light. I love how its a compact gun, makes my profile small! In fact I have had a number of people comment on how they like the feel and weight of the gun!

Looking good guys.

Looks like the feedneck is a lil shorter than your previous markers. Any issues with that with your teammates, Thomas?
Thomas Taylor said on March 1, 2010
It is really short and with the prophecy hand feed on the bottom i thought it might be but it did not get in the way.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but now I’m in love with this paintslinger. Super low profile, and I haven’t even managed to break it yet!

I’m the kinda guy that will be straight up with you if something is going wrong with my equipment that sticks out in my mind……honestly though, this Alien marker was doing work!! My snap shot was on point with this new marker and the lanes I was able to hold while shooting the Independence were on point!! I felt in control of the game the whole time and didn’t chop one paintball all weekend…..not one single ball…..Not having gun problems gives you confidence in your play and keeps your mind and eyes in the game….that is exactly what the Alien Independence allowed for all of XSV to do this weekend while playing the Ironmen! Thank you Jack for such an amazing paintball marker! Love it!
