Rumor of the day: NPPL press conference this Sunday

February 16, 2010 in Rumor Reports

ProPaintball insiders have informed us that the NPPL plans to host some sort of webcast as early as Sunday afternoon.

We’ve been told that there will be a group of owners available to answer questions. This sounds similar to the question and answer we recently held with Rich Telford. Given the opportunity, what questions would you like to ask the pro paintball team owners about the NPPL?

Sound off in the comments below..

  1. What changes have you guys made to avoid the same fate as the NPPL in the past?

  2. Since everyone, including you “owners”, know it’s inevitable that this is the last year of the NPPL (and in fact, very likely won’t even make it through this season), why are you doing this?

  3. Don’t you think that the NPPL is to far gone to compete with the PSP? It’s not a competition anymore like it used to be a couple years ago. The PSP has really stepped up and put a hurting on the NPPL. Basically, how do you plan on coming back?

  4. What are some Ideas you guys have that will try to make the NPPL “the” League in Paintball and separate itself from the PSP?
Will all the Pro Teams in North America Compete in your League?
And, Why are you guys suddenly coming back with the NPPL after it fell?
What will change from the 2008 NPPL to the 2010 NPPL?

  5. cock or ball?

  6. Why does your registration thingy let a team sign up 8 Pro players in D3?

  7. so the new NPPL ranking system is going to be based on the honor system when you first sign up?

  8. The NPPL was a prestigious series for some time, and still holds some value amongst players, but what are you [the owners] going to be doing that’s new or different to entice the teams that will draw out spectators and said teams?
