San Diego, California (February 4, 2010) – Dye Precision Inc., announced today the signing of Semi Pro paintball team San Diego Aftermath to a multi-year agreement. PSP Champions, NPPL Champions, and a consistent force to be reckoned with for the past 5 seasons. San Diego Aftermath is proud to announce that they have joined the DYE family. Having been a loyal and trusted team who has represented their sponsors to the fullest since the beginning, San Diego Aftermath felt that it was time for a change.
Mike Hinman, Team Owner of San Diego Aftermath commented on the recent signing. “Aftermath is very pleased to announce that we have signed a multi-year deal with DYE Precision. We will be using the new DYE NT Paintball Marker, i4 Goggle System, the amazing DYE Rotor Loader, as well as all DYE soft goods head to toe. In a time where there is so much uncertainty, it is a great feeling to know that we have the support of the best manufacturer this sport has ever seen. Now we can get down to what we should be doing: training to win Championships”
With DYE Precision’s worldwide headquarters literally just down the road, the relationship between the team and the company is a perfect fit. Robin Niehaus, DYE Precision’s worldwide Director of Sales and Marketing stated “Aftermath has been doing it right from the very beginning. The team has proven to be a breeding ground for some of the best players the sport has ever seen. The program that Mike runs is top notch and we are excited to be taking our relationship with the team to the next level”.
Since the team formed in 2005, their record speaks for itself, consistently winning events and season series championships.
- 2005 PSP D3 Series Champions
- 2006 NPPL D1 Series Champions
- 2007 PSP D1 Series Champions

very natural. but how does this mix with the merger of s.d.a and infamous, especially with the alleged deal with bob long markers? so will infamous be just an affiliate camp that shoots bl , or will infamous be dye head to toe as well?

As far as sponsorship goes I believe the two teams will be treated as if they are completely separate entities..

Am I the only one who finds this pairing only slightly odd? It seems as though it was only yesterday that there was tension between DYE and Aftermath because of player poaching (read: Marcello/Mouse),
Either way, it’s a solid move for DYE. The Aftermath kids are hungry and it’s a great organization.

“only” yesterday was actually around 2007 if i remember correctly. also like chris said this is with an entirely new team and even then with the way the economy is I dont think hinman or any team owner would be stupid/arrogant enough to turn down an offer this good.

SDA Aftermath Semi Pro is the one getting this sponsorship, the merged team will be under the name INFAMOUS and will have the BL sponsorship.
