Rumor of the day: Big PSP Meeting Today
January 5, 2010 in Rumor Reports
ProPaintball.com inside sources have informed us that the PSP is holding a big meeting at an un-disclosed location in San Diego today. Sources tell us that several industry heavy-weights will be sitting alongside select tournament series owners. Any idea as to what they will be discussing?

With the new changes in the psp this year this can only be a good thing. Psp just needs to bring the hammer down, they are very capable of doing so just need the support of the players to do it. Buy the nppl and BURY the name once and for all.

It’s a better time now then ever (well, except for when they went bankrupt last year). I hope that it happens so that there can be more coordination between seven-man and X-ball events.

Need to have a Huntington Beach event if nppl disappears. West Coast needs major psp events too!

They are asking themselves why they are not holding an event in Southern California.

They are discussing money. Last year Dye and PE and others gave significantly less than previous years. Lane needs more to do what he wants to do.

they need to put out a freaking season schedule. None of the regional leagues can get their schedules out because of PSP’s tardiness. Wow whoopee you released the Phoenix date, its a start but we need the damn schedule.
sigma said on January 5, 2010
screw that. regional promoters need to put their schedules and no worry about the PSP. more teams should support their regional leagues/series and fields/stores. paintball as a sport does not need a national league/series. several regional events around the country would be great. there was a point when only the very best of the best traveled around the country to prove their worth. until then everyone should support their local market to keep the sport flourishing.

you do not need that much time to plan things for a regional event. they are only on weekends and if you are coming from far as fuck away then its not regional for you, you are choosing to go, you can wait. if you want something easier to plan for do something closer. the majority of people need what? 2-3 weeks ahead to get off work, you will know well before then so stop complaining and practice.

not need much time?? You must never have put on a QUALITY regional event
