YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS. though the prizes are also better thought its still a joke how there could be 50 teams in d3 and still only win your money back (not even if you consiter paint)

I believe the purpose for this is to make D3 more of entry level divison for players the good teams that wanna win for the purpose of $$$ are now forced to move up great idea I think

Why does everyone want a ROF increase?
*** said on January 6, 2010
Because it reverses the trend. Three years ago, it was 15 bps. Two years ago, it was 13.3 with a 1.7 bps difference. Last year, it went down to 10.5 bps with a 1.8 bps difference. If it kept up at that rate, then this year would be 1.9 less at 8.6 bps, and then the year after that would be 2 less at 6.6 bps, and then the year after that would be 2.1 less at 4.5 bps, or so slow that PUMP PLAY IS ILLEGAL!
Reason enough to get pumped about it. If not for that, then just that there’s more excitement from more paintballs flying through the air.

That is not the way to make the game more exciting moreballsin theair less movement ivee been playing for 26 years and tourney ball since 87 seen the game progress and degress more bps isn’t the answer
sigma said on January 7, 2010
sblair said I hoped would be said from my loaded question. ***, your thought process is idiotic. more paint in the air is exciting only to a small subset of less than mediocre players. for everyone else more paint in the air winds up equating to a very boring playing style to watch and expensive to play. I think this is a negative change and a step in the wrong direction. 10 bps was a perfect mix of high ROFs (ive been playing since the early 90′s so its high ROFs) and movement promoting play. for spectators, its more exciting to see players move up the field and gun fight than it is to see people sit near their starting points and just shoot their gun. but then again this rant of mine could just be pissing in the wind.

not sure how i stand on this. with 10 we shot less so it saved a little on paint. not sure how the change to 12 will affect how much we shoot and how much that will pull on our pockets. time will tell.

Mmmm..I’d be willing to bet they confirmed the rumor on their website to stave off hundreds of telephone calls.
Thanks PROPB for breaking the news. Now if only you guys would leak the dates they might confirm those as well. hint hint..

Sweet, I hoped they increased the BPS, it felt kinda weird shooting at ten BPS all year.
