Look what came in the mail
August 13, 2009 in Gear, San Francisco Explicit
A few weeks back Rob Montiero from pro paintball team SF Explicit emailed in asking for a mailing address and we were all sorta curious as to what he was up to. When an unexpected package showed up in today’s mail you can only imagine our excitement — we had to see what was inside and quick! After ripping open the package we realized that not only was there a fresh Explicit paintball t-shirt but sitting alongside was a brand new 14″ Furious Lotus barrel, all courtesy of Rob and his teammates on San Francisco Explicit.
We’ve been wanting to get our hands on one of the Furious barrels for awhile and now that we have one its time to put it to the test!

wow Explicit is really doing what a Pro team should do with promoting. it amazes me at what they’ve been doing.
even with them not being a top contender, sorry guys but it’s just what i see (but that can’t change within a season), they have really gone out and brought paintball to their community in a positive light.

lol stupid kid. Have you even seen JB play? I’ve been watching him play since the first time i went to Rich’s field back in 07. Its funny that a lot of people respect and give all this credit to Rich, but personally i think JB is smarter and more versitile then Rich ever was. No offense to rich of course, dudes a beast and with his new slick back goerge lucas look he’ll make your girl’s panties fly off with one expression!

Its amazing the anger people have or maybe its just their insecurity or lack of maturity. Its ok to hate guys. The fact that you took the time to read this shows you do care. Its ok, no one will know. Remember haters, even you can support paintball.

Lol these kids dont understand that all this hate should be stored and saved for the weekends at practice or an event. Instead they vent anger on you guys..maybe its cuz they dont have a special someone, maybe they werent picked up enough as an infant. But one things for sure…they need to learn this simple lesson…

Off the top of my head, visiting Shriners hospital and hanging with sick kids, building and connecting with their ever increasing fan bases and gaining exposure on local news networks. Just to name a few.
Gone are the days where teams can rely on the manufactures for ads and journalists for team coverage in magazines. Magazines and newspapers are dead! Although rookies within the pro ranks, Explicit has harnessed the power of the internet to promote themselves and build strong relationships with their fans and in doing so, has become a clear leader.

I was given a Lotus barrel 2 years ago to demo, honestly thought it was another gimmick until I tried it. This thing shoots amazing, it shoots flat, quiet and real efficient. I’ve used all top brands DYE, SP etc. and always came back to using barrel. I would def recommend trying one if you have the opp.

they are a rec ball scenerio team. they are ranked #1 in the SPPL. Their leader Rob is the bet anti-tank rocket launcher in the northen hemesphere. lol jk go to their website and check them out.
