Smart Parts 2009 Impulse

May 18, 2009 in Gear

Rumors of a new Smart Parts Impulse are spreading like wildfire. Word has it the marker was approximately 50 days out from the Mid Atlantic Open and will feature a knock-open poppet valve system. The marker is said to be a “ego-type” and if the production schedule runs on time the marker will be demonstrated at the Millennium event held in Bitburg, Germany and the PSP’s Chicago Open.

When the original Impulse came out, it set the standard for the market. I have high hopes that this wont be another nerve (I still own one and love it).

  2. Woww!!!! I want one.

  3. Actually when the original Impulse came out it took about a year to set the standard. I know because according to the SP tech who had to fix my gun, I was the only guy using one at the So Cal Open (can’t remember the year) at SC Arenas back in the NPPL 10man days.

It took some time for the impulse actually. The PL impulses is really what helped them out.

  6. that thing is going to be sick

  7. impulse said to go for $329.99?..ion, ion xe+$25, ion xe pro (280), eos $399, shocker 499 – …how many guns do they need under 500?

    • Well they are kinda downgrading smart parts from what it sounds like. The smart parts guns are becoming lower end because of DLX and the luxe. It makes sense, not really any point to having more than one high end considering they’re going to sell more lower end guns.

  12. It’s about time smart parts comes out with something that can keep up to the competition. For a while they were looking like the new spyder throwing performance out the window.
