Rumor: Shawn Walker playing in the USPL
March 13, 2009 in USPL
Former NPPL president Shawn Walker is rumored to be entering his RPL Allstar team into the USPL Huntington Beach Event. After a big ho-ha, the RPL Allstars (coined after his new league) competed in the PSP Phoenix Open. While we can’t blame the guy for making an effort to play in the competing leagues and wanting to enjoy competitive paintball on the beach, we can wonder about his sanity. For those living under a rock, Mr. Walker was the former president of the NPPL & XPSL leagues, and has been accused by the the parent company, Pacific Paintball LLC., for embezzling funds and mismanaging the premier 7-man league.

Where have you been lately? Phil Dominguez story??? Clearly not the type of “innocent until proven guilty” situation you’re referring to, is it? It was definitely a bone head idea to drive guns to an airport.

Innocent until proven guilty applies to criminal cases. You don’t need a jury to tell you when somebody just screwed you over.
Shawn stole so much from Pacific Paintball that he drove it into bankruptcy, and is now using the proceeds from his theft to finance his new league.
Shawn gets to steal hundreds of thousands of dollars AND gets Bruce to pay off all the debt Shawn had racked up running XPSL. Not a bad deal – for Shawn.
